About TechPREE and Esbjorn Larsen
TechPREE.com is a blog that I started because I have a passion for finding innovative solutions making the world of technology and computers easier to understand and more fun to work with.  My goal is to build this blog to be a creative repository of solutions that will inspire others to implement them in their own lives.  I want the content to show how anyone can become more productive with the intelligent use of a little technology available to everyone.  Knowledge is power and this blog will give you the insights of the tech professional without having to be one yourself.

I love to ask What IF and Why NOT?  I stole this slogan from Mike Rayburn, a great inspirational speaker.  The content on this blog will reflect these two questions as they relate to technology and life productivity in general.  If I have ideas, which I think others may benefit from, I will put them down on this blog.

My passion is to help people to find their unique solutions to how they want to use technology.  What if I can cut your 10-hour work day down to 8 hours?  What if I can automate processes that keeps you from doing more interesting work?  How can I help you release your stress by finding ways to make sure you will never forget what tasks needs attending to?  These and many more questions are what I ask when working with my clients and I do anything I can to find the solutions.  Having worked in the technology community for many years I have found that all that’s required is to add a little common sense to all the buzz words out there.  My clients already have the answers, they just need help with translating the concepts.

I’m the kind of person that reads the manual for my new smart-phone from start to finish, before I turn it on.  That way, I will be equipped with the skills to squeeze every bit of functionality out of the darn thing how, and when I need it.  I spend a tremendous amount of time researching new material in the media such as other blogs, magazines, radio etc looking for new and innovative ways of applying technology.  It is a daunting task to filter out all the useless junk.  I will often refer to existing articles in this blog to create a central source for productivity tips that I, in my own very personal opinion find useful.  I will read any user feedback that I get on this site and take it to heart.  As long as I receive constructive criticism I will do my best to improve the content on this blog accordingly.

Most of these articles are focused on using Windows XP and Vista, as I work mostly with the Windows operating systems in my profession.  I love the Apple OS since I started out as a UNIX programmer, but I am not as strong on the Apple……yet…..  Once I have my new Apple MacBook Pro, I will add content related to that platform as well.  In my opinion, the best computer ever made was the Commodore Amiga 500.

Personal facts about Esbjorn Larsen
Born in Sandviken, Sweden I spent most of my childhood in the city of Gothenburg on the west coast by the North Atlantic.  So far my career over 15 years put me on the map working and living in Germany, France, England, and the United States.

Currently, I work for a large multi-national corporation as a security consultant.  Although, not my primary work function, I spend a lot of time finding solutions for my clients and colleagues to help them become more productive in their work environment.

My long-term goal is to reach out to individuals and corporations on a broader scale to help them find win-win solutions in their work and personal endeavors to become more efficient, productive, and stress-free individuals.  I believe that revenue depends on how we optimize these variables.

Being a skier since a 4-year old, I always dreamed of living in Colorado and skiing the Rocky Mountains while growing up in Sweden.  In 1999 I settled in Denver, CO where I enjoy the outdoor life (at least during the weekends as I travel for work almost every week).
