OK, I’m just letting everyone know that I’m back in the game again after being away for almost three months. When I started this blog I promised myself to not “drop the ball” on writing articles. However, “reality” kicked in and I found myself hijacked by my employer.
Since I started this blog about a month ago, I have been asked almost every day what the purpose is and what content readers should expect. So, I figured it is time for me to shed some light on this. I want TechPREE to be a good source for productivity tips, especially about how to apply cool computer technology, but not restricted to, to accomplish this. I am devoted to the principals taught by the Getting Things Done movement, and related sources such as Zen Habits, LifeHacker, 43Folders etc.
I had initially thought that the Tip of the week articles and RSS feeds was a good idea. Well, I changed my mind because really, all my articles will all be tips in one way or another so I will basically just have a main stream of articles. I’m sorry if I’ve misled anyone. Look forward to future articles coming soon…
Thank you for dropping by the new site of TechPREE. I started this site to share my tips about technology, which I’ve collected over the years. I love working with computer technology and how it can improve our personal life as well as our work environment. Since you’re reading this you are probably an active blog reader and used to surf the web for interesting pieces of information. I spend a tremendous amount of time in the virtual world because I’m always looking for the next big thing that will blow my mind away. Over the years I have had the fortune of being “that guy” who gives advice to others about the intelligent use of computer technology and how the use of simple principles can have a great positive impact in the way we interact with technology. I’ve always taken my accrued computer skills for granted and for a long time I didn’t think that I had a message for anyone to hear. I mean, what can I know that someone else doesn’t. Well, it turns out that my many hours in front of my computer screen apparently paid off and that people like to hear about it.
